When the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic, we vowed that the Ohio GFOA 33rd Annual Conference and Membership Meeting would still go on — someway, somehow. It is simply too important to cancel!

Originally, our plan was to host the conference as a hybrid live/virtual meeting, with speakers and breakout sessions available to all attendees, whether joining us in Cleveland or from their homes. However, due to recent spikes in COVID-19 cases and in the interest of attendee safety, Ohio GFOA made the tough, yet necessary, decision to change course: Ohio GFOA’s 33rd Annual Conference and Membership Meeting will be 100 percent virtual.

This year the Ohio GFOA will offer a condensed virtual program of 2 days of educational session focused on issues facing the industry. Accreditation will be provided through the Ohio Accountancy Board (CPE), Ohio Treasurer of State's Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM), Ohio Auditor of State's Fiscal Integrity Act (FIA), and the Ohio Society of CPAs (Ethics).

When registering please keep in mind... Ohio GFOA will be using Zoom Webinar to conduct the 33rd Ohio GFOA Annual Conference & Membership Meeting. Please note that when logging into the Annual Conference virtual sessions you must join the session via computer in order to receive continuing education credit for your participation. Ohio GFOA cannot identify telephone numbers calling in. For an optimal viewing experience, it is highly recommended that viewers watch directly from their WiFi connection and log out of any work terminal. It is also recommended that Zoom be downloaded outside of any work terminal.
