Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how property taxes are calculated, the role of millage and levies, and how tax revenues are collected and distributed to support local services. Intermediate Governmental Accounting Seminar This two-day seminar focuses on intermediate governmental accounting and financial reporting concepts, with an emphasis on preparing GAAP-based financial statements under the GASB 34 model. Participants will walk through key reporting components and common application issues, with opportunities to discuss real-world examples. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own government financial statements or a sample set to support practical discussion and address specific questions.
