This one-and-a-half-day seminar serves as an introduction to the public finance office, providing a high-level overview of key issues that may arise, including ethics, public records, human resources, accounting principles, revenues, expenditures, budgets, banking and investments, purchasing, debt issuance, internal controls, and audits. Tailored for newly elected or appointed officials and public finance office employees, this seminar offers an excellent opportunity for any public official to gain a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in managing a public finance office.

Accreditation
This seminar will provide 11.4 CPE hours in Category AA and is pending approval through the Ohio Treasurer of State’s Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM).
