Procurements Under FEMA Awards During Periods of Emergency or Exigency
Monday, April 13, 2020, 2:00 AM - 3:00 PM EDT
Category: Events

Under the direction of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Health and Human Services (HHS) and other federal partners are working with state, local, tribal, and territorial governments to execute a whole-of-America response to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and protect the public. The number one priority is the health and safety of the American people. When using FEMA Public Assistance funds to procure goods and services during this pandemic, governments must follow the Code of Federal Regulations. Failure to follow the rules may place FEMA grant funding at risk. During this session FEMA’s Procurement Disaster Assistance Team (PDAT) will address the rules and regulations covering emergency procurement of goods and services related to the COVID-19 pandemic and what state, local, tribal, and territorial governments will need to do to receive FEMA reimbursement.
